Hi gang! I'm Meg (she/her), your wonderful Welsh ALTS secretary! You'll most likely see me stamping your loyalty cards when you inevitably come join a mad midnight session of ice hockey, as well as through the ominously anonymous emails.

I started ALTS back in freshers week of my first year as a bit of a funny seeing as I could not skate at all, and have stuck with it ever since! Hello! I’m Jay (he/they) and I’m your Alts president until the end of Hilary term 2025 😄

I started Alts as a complete beginner in my first year (I had skated like twice in my life) and now I come every week! I found everyone on the committee so welcoming when I first started so I hope to carry on the welcoming vibes of the club from the past presidents before me 🥰🫡 Please feel free to come chat to me around the rink!

One of my favourite things about Alts is the theme nights and dressing up because what other society lets you dress up as a cowboy and skate around while playing ice hockey😍🤠 So be prepared for whatever our amazing social sec dreams up next! 👀

Hi everyone! My name is Zain and I'm Treasurer at ALTS, going into my 2nd year at uni ‼‼I came to the club off a whim at the start of first year - and we've hit it off ever since 😁 From a complete beginner holding onto the walls to a mildly overconfident beginner crashing into walls, the whole year has been a blast! So come down to the rink on Wednesdays and Fridays to give it a try - and don't be scared to say hi!
